SAVING YOUR CORPORATE EVENT BUDGET

Budgeting Do's And Don'ts

With everyone watching the budget, here are some tips to help you save money without jeopardizing your event!

Places To Save:

Venues – Shop around to get the best deal on your venue. Often a venue manager will throw in some extras to entice your business and save your budget.
Decorations – Cutting back on decoration expenses is a great way to save. Explore options for making the venue look great while saving cash.
Food Services – Talk with your caterer about cost saving measures. For example, buffets are usually less expensive than full service meals.
The Bar – Open bars are nice, but to truly save a few dollars, cash bars are an option.

Don't Skimp On:

Food Quality – Taste test caterers before you select one. Go for the best tasting food available to please your guests' palates. Even if the caterer is more expensive, you may be able to cut back on options and services as mentioned earlier. Never skimp on food quality!

Corporate Entertainment – The corporate entertainer you hire will make or break your evening. If you want your event to be fun, exciting and memorable, now is not the time to pinch your pennies. Set a per person budget for corporate entertainment, then seek out entertainment that will meet your event goals and be appropriate for your guests.
