A Simple Corporate Event Planning Outline
To Make Your Event Planning Easier

When planning your corporate entertainment event, there are steps that can make the process easier.

1. Prioritize Your Needs: Outline the entire event, decide on the most important aspects and budget accordingly. Without a budget in place, costs can skyrocket when creating an event.

2. Set Goals: Break your outline into action steps based on priority. These may include setting the date, scheduling the caterer, speakers and entertainment, etc. Give each step a deadline. By tackling the event one step at a time, the overall task seems smaller and your goals will be within grasp.

3. Be Creative: Seek input from co-workers, family and friends. You may be surprised at the connections others have. These can often lead to good deals that save your company and make your job easier.

4. Have A Back-Up Plan: The old saying, “If something can go wrong, it probably will”, has the potential to ruin perfect plans. By planning backups, if the sound system explodes, you'll know exactly what to do so things can run smoothly.

Don't let corporate event planning scare you. Lists are your friends!
